It is important that entire bridge is inspected at specified interval not only to ensure safety of the bridge, but also to initiate any repair/rehabilitation work well in advance so that the bridge remains functional. Unfortunately, the condition of substructure and foundation under water cannot be easily determined as the condition of those parts of the bridge located above water. The environment under water is harsher and requires special equipments and methods. As these elements are continuously submerged, underwater inspection and management techniques must be undertaken to establish their condition so that unsafe condition can be avoided.Item Open Access PROJECT REPORT ON AIRPORT(GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY, 2022) KHATUA, ANKAN; AADIL, KHUSHAIL; RAJ, KUNWAR PRATEEK; GAMBIZA, EUODIAS NAMATAIairport, Site and installations for the takeoff and landing of aircraft. Early airports were open grass-covered fields, called landing fields, that allowed a pilot to head directly into the wind to aid a plane’s lift on takeoff and to decrease its speed on landing. In the 1930s heavier airplanes required paved runway surfaces. Larger planes needed longer runways, which today can reach 15,000 ft (4,500 m) to accommodate the largest jet aircraft. Air traffic is regulated from control towers and regional centres. Passenger and cargo terminals include baggage-movement and passenger- transit operations.Item Open Access COMPRESSION STRENGTH BETWEEN CONVENTIONAL AND ALCCOFINE MIX WITH CONCRETE(GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY, 2022) KUMAR, RAHUL; ALAM , MD ZAFFRUDDIN; IMAM , AKHTARNowadays, many research works are being conducted throughout the world to develop cementitious materials that can replace cement. This Paper Presents the Compressive strength of high Performance concrete with the replacement of cement with Alccofine and Fly ash, and also with natural sand to manufactured sand. The necessary of high Performance concrete is increasing because of demands in the construction site. The main aim of this study is to evaluate the strength or we can say high performance of concrete containing supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) such as Alccofine. We Efforts for improving the performance of concrete over the past few years suggest that cement replacement materials along with Mineral & chemical admixtures can improve the strength and durability characteristics of concrete. Alccofine (GGBS) and cement are pozzolanic materials that can be utilized to produce highly durable concrete composites. In this experiment tries out a new ultrafine material called Alccofine for a partial replacement. This concrete grade, M35 was developed for testing the cementing efficiency of Alccofine with a variety of percentages of replacement of cement with Alccofine, such as 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%.
