Mitigation of False Data based Cyber Intrusion Uncertainty in Power Systems
(Galgotias University, 2023-05) Anand, Ayush; Kumar, Abhimanu
The employment of cutting-edge technologies has made cyber-attacks a more serious danger to the secure operation of the power system. In order to solve the LFC problem, it enables cyber-physical based system stability and security difficulties. To send precise measurement data to the control centre, employ the cyber physical network. However, it unavoidably results in a significant rise in the vulnerability of the physical fake information injection type of cyberattack. By altering the rate of change of frequency (ROF), this attack upsets the grid. As a result, a best-practice linear quadratic regulator (LQR) legislation is created to protect against false information injection (FDI) integrity-related cyber intrusions and load patterns. The variances in state trajectories ensure that FDI intrusion vulnerabilities will have the least detrimental effects possible on the grid state trajectories

    E-BIKE (ELECTRIC BIKE)
(GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY, 2022) VERMA, ASHUTOSH; SINGH, GAUTAM
The primary objective of the project is to design a feasible yet highly adaptable E-bike. As the number of motor vehicles on the roads throughout the world increases at staggering rate each year, the dependence on oil-based fuel grows almost unchecked. The increased use of non-renewable fossil fuels brings with it environmental problems such as: the “greenhouse effect”, health problems for city delivers and concern over the stability of fuel supply. To move away from this dependence on oil, a vast amount of money is being spent on the development of electrical vehicles (EVs) that may be produced. This paper presents a study of electrical motorcycle design. The aim of this study is to investigate how to design a simple, cost effective model of electrical motorcycle with intelligent control system. This can be implemented by removing the internal combustion engine, the exhaust system and other unnecessary components from the motorcycle and replaced by an electrical motor, an intelligent controller, and a battery pack, cabling system and monitoring instruments.

    SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM
(GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY, 2022) PRIYA, AKANKSHA; Singh, Gautam
A solar tracker is a device that orients a payload toward the Sun. Payloads are usually solar panels, parabolic troughs, Solar reflectors, lenses or the mirrors of a heliostat. Trackers direct solar panels or modules toward the sun. These devices change their orientation throughout the day to follow the sun’s path to maximize energy capture. solar trackers In photovoltaic systems, trackers help minimize the angle of incidence (the angle that a ray of light makes with a line perpendicular to the surface) between the incoming light and the panel, which increases the amount of energy the installation produces. Concentrated solar photovoltaics and concentrated solar thermal have optics that directly accept sunlight, so solar trackers must be angled correctly to collect energy. All concentrated solar systems have trackers because the systems do not produce energy unless directed correctly toward the sun. Single-axis solar trackers rotate on one axis moving back and forth in a single direction. This model comprises a DC geared motor to rotate a mini solar panel placed on motor shaft. The Circuit diagram of Solar Tracker comprises two LDR each of this connected to PNP transistor. Its output is connected to a Dual motor driver amplifier L-293D integrated circuit that changes the polarity of motor as per light falling on LDR correspondingly. The sensitivity of LDR can be controlled by a 1MEGA preset connected to the base of each transistor. A single battery of 9V dc is sufficient to move this motor on which solar panel and LDRS are placed.

IoT Based Coal Mine Safety Monitoring and Alerting
(GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY, 2022) Kumar, Rajnish; Kumar, Pratyush; Das, Dr. D. Gnana Jeba
Coal mine accidents are becoming more common. Many skilled workers and labourers have died. There is no early warning system in place to detect the alarming cause of coal mine accidents and issue an alert. In the mining industry, workplace injuries and illnesses are common. Firedamp and residue blasts, landslips, mine flames, and transport and motorization related specialized disappointments are the most well-known reasons for mishaps in coal mining. As per an investigation of word related mishaps with regards to social and financial variables uncovers the genuine reasons for these mishaps, which are said to happen unavoidably because of specialized blemishes or disappointments. To save and shield the specialists from the risks, a robotized disturbing coal mineshaft mishap discovery framework is utilized. This framework utilizes the consolidated activity of a temperature, tension, and gas sensor, as well as an IOT module, to identify the temperature, strain, and climate in the coal mineshaft, as well as to log all information to the cloud utilizing information logging. Then, at that point, through information obtaining, these information are acknowledged by an administrator controlled server page. The information is handled on a server page, and an alarm is shipped off the gadget, which will streak the alert, as well with respect to the concerned authorities and salvage stations, who will go to safeguard lengths.

    Two-Wheeled Self-Balancing Robot
(GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY, 2021) Choudhary, Riya; Kumar, Basant
In the last decade, the open source community has expanded to make it possible for people to build complex products at home. In this thesis a two wheeled self-balancing robot has been designed. These types of robots can be based on the physical problem of an inverted pendulum . The system in itself requires active control in order to be stable. Using open source microcontroller Arduino Uno and reliable angular and positional data the system can be made stable by implementing a controller. A modern and efficient controller is the LQR - Linear Quadratic Regulator . Being a state space feedback controller the model has to be a good representation of reality since the output signal depends on the model. In this thesis, the validation process was performed using a PID-regulator. The results showed that the model is not yet reliable. The reasons for this are discussed and recommendations for future development are listed.

COVID-19 DATAANALYSIS OF INDIA USING PYTHON
(GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY, 2022-05) Srivastava, Anshuman; Kashyap, Shivanshu
The outbreak of COVID-19 in different parts of the world is a major concern for all the administrative units of respective countries. India is also facing this very tough task for controlling the virus outbreak and has managed its growth rate through some strict measures. This analysis presents the current situation of coronavirus spread in India along with the impact of various measures taken for it. With the help of data sources (till 10th of June ) from various state units of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, this study presents various trends and patterns. This study answers six different research questions in a comprehensive manner. It has been reported that the growth rate of infected cases has been controlled with the help of National Lockdown, however some uncontrolled mass level events had negatively impacted the infected cases. It appears that only essential services should be open for the citizens of India and the na- tional lockdown should be carried on for next 2-4 months. This study will be useful for the Government of India and various states of India, Administrative Units of India, Frontline health workforce of India, researchers and scientists. This study will also be favorable for the administrative units of other countries to consider various aspects related to the control of COVID-19 is widespread in their respective regions. COVID-2019 has been recognized as a global threat, and several studies are being conducted in order to contribute to the fight and prevention of this pandemic. This work presents a scholarly production dataset focused on COVID-19, providing an overview of scientific research activities, making it possible to identify countries, scientists and research groups most active in this task force to combat the coronavirus disease. The dataset is composed of a number of records of articles’ metadata collected from Scopus, PubMed, arXiv and bioRxiv databases from January 2019 to July 2020. Those data were extracted by using the techniques of Python Web Scraping and preprocessed with Pandas Data Wrangling. In addition, the pipeline to preprocess and generate the dataset are versioned with the Data Version Control tool (DVC) and are thus easily reproducible and auditable
